Was working remotely in Mexico City for ~3 weeks and had an amazing time overall — but I got food poisoning twice, likely from tap water or slushie-type drinks. Please make sure you're drinking bottled or filtered water.
For accommodation, Airbnb has fairly good options around the city. I stayed at the Icon Condesa via Sonder and would not recommend Sonder — they kicked us out ~2 weeks in with less than 24 hours notice and weren't willing to help us find alternative accommodations.
